Shay joined the General Youth Division team in January of 2004 and has served in all three executive capacities—Director of Promotion, General Youth Secretary, and currently as General Youth President. He is a student ministry veteran and had the time of his life while filling the role of Youth Pastor for congregations in Texas City, TX and Atlanta, GA. Shay is helplessly in love with his wife Bridgette, who is his perfect compliment and ministry partner. The Manns are the adoring parents of two beautiful daughters, Breleigh and Blair.
Shay is passionate about the GYD and its mission to serve the pastors, churches and students of the United Pentecostal Church for the cause of evangelism and discipleship. He also loves spending time with his family, ministering to students in a wide variety of settings, and cruising around town on his motorcycle. |

General Youth Secretary
Daryle Williams

From spring of 1995 through summer of 2002, Daryle served as the Youth Pastor at The Pentecostals of Apopka in Florida. In 1996 he founded Florida’s Variety Youth Convention, now called Fusion. He served from 1997-2001 as the Section Four Youth Director. From 2001-2004, he served as the Florida District’s Youth Secretary. In 2004, Daryle was elected Florida Youth President and at the 2007 General Conference elected to be General Youth Secretary.
Prior to becoming an executive staff member of the Youth Division, Daryle served as the Florida District’s Administrator. In addition to a wide variety of administrative responsibilities in the overall operation of the District’s departments, Daryle served as overseer for the recent $3,000,000 renovation of the District’s campground.
In his role as Youth President, in 2004, College Camp was initiated in Florida. For the years of 2005, 2006, and 2007 he led the Florida District to three consecutive record offering years in Sheaves For Christ giving. With a vision of world missions, Daryle and his wife Lynita have participated in five overseas missions trips with Florida’s youth traveling to China, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Guatemala, Honduras, England and France. Daryle and Lynita have two children: Reeve, age 6, and Haley, age 3.

Michael is the newest member of the General Youth Division team, arriving on the scene in January 2010. He comes from the great state of Texas where he served as Youth President for seven years (2003-2010). After graduating from Texas Bible College in 2000, he served Living Way Church in Conroe, TX, as Youth Pastor and Assistant Pastor until his recent transition. He married Rebecca in 1999 (she's from the very cool city of Seattle, WA) and feels very blessed to have such an amazing wife. He is also the very proud father of two boys, Lincoln Michael and Grant Mason, and is excitedly awaiting the arrival of baby # 3. He is passionate about his family and loves hanging out with them.
Michael is also very passionate about youth ministry and considers it an amazing privilege to serve the youth of the UPCI. He loves young people and believes this generation of Apostolic Pentecostal youth will dynamically change their world for Jesus Christ. He spends his free time interacting on Twitter, playing golf and running marathons. His personal motto: "Running is optional. The race is not."

Erica joined the Youth Division team in April 2008. Her favorite interests include music, drama, animals, and flying. She enjoys spending time with family and friends. Erica just completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences. She serves as a music minister in her local church. Her cats, Phoebe and Pasha, are her best little pals.

Cindy has worked for the GYD since January of 2005. She loves her family and lives for her nieces, Gracelyn and Macyn. She attended Bible College majoring in music, and is a certified massage therapist.

Ricky joined the General Youth Division in the fall of 2009. He was raised in the heartland of the South in Birmingham, AL, and is now a senior at Gateway College of Evangelism pursuing his BA in Pastoral Studies. In his downtime he likes to read, drink tea, play golf, download new iPhone applications, and think of ways to solve the world’s problems. |
